Diversity CouncilA Diversity Council is an internal body comprised of a representative cross-section of Marathon employees. Marathon has councils representing United States and European business units. The councils are supported at the highest corporate levels as demonstrated through the leadership and commitment of the Executive Diversity Officer's Committee. Councils help improve our business by increasing diversity awareness and assisting in driving inclusion throughout our workforce. They serve in an advisory capacity to Marathon management and employees on issues relative to the strategic direction of our diversity initiatives, and promote a more inclusive work force through recruitment and retention. Opportunities are provided that allow members to share best practices and lessons learned. In addition, Diversity Teams have been established to address unique issues at individual locations and within business units. |
