In addition to Marathon's prominent Brand presence, the Company is also one of the largest wholesale suppliers of gasoline and distillate to resellers and consumer end-users within its market area. Independent retailers, unbranded jobbers, airlines, transportation companies, railroads, marine companies and utilities form the core of Marathon's customer base. Sales are made at 64 equity and 70 exchange/throughput terminals throughout 21 U.S. states.
