Stakeholder Engagement

Stakeholder engagement is the creation of relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cooperation and alignment between the concerned parties.

• Marathon formed a partnership with the Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) to expand our commitment to social responsibility and broaden our network for social responsibility. The Company created guidelines that define stakeholders in U.S. and non-U.S. contexts, identify business drivers of the engagement process and lay out a process for stakeholder engagement.
• Speedway SuperAmerica (SSA)is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of customers and the communities in which we operate. Since 1992, SSA has raised more than $25 million for the Children's Miracle Network.
• The Company's Health Services organization, in cooperation with the Indiana Gastroenterology Research Foundation (IGRF) established a free colorectal screening program for eligible Marathon employees, retirees and their spouses.
